Canterbury: Drugs raid in Pine Tree Avenue

Crack cocaine and a stolen television were seized by police after a raid at a Canterbury home.

A man has been arrested after officers carried out a warrant on Tuesday and found the drugs, the TV and a number of mobile phones at the house in Pine Tree Avenue just after 3pm.

The 38-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drugs and handling stolen goods and has been bailed until September 28.

Constable Matt Jackson said: "This warrant was the latest action in our ongoing fight to disrupt people who are involved in the use of illegal drugs in the Canterbury district."
