A batch of Wall's Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs have been recalled over concerns they may contain "small fragments of metal".

The company stated: "Wall’s is taking the precautionary measure of recalling a limited batch of Wall’s Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs as internal quality checks have shown they may contain very small fragments of metal.

The safety of the people that buy and use our products is always our number one priority which is why we are taking the precaution of recalling this limited number of Wall’s Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs."

Wall's Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime 6 x 80ml multi-packs with the batch codes L0121, L0122, L0123, L0124, L0125 and L0126 - and the best-before dates April 2022 and May 2022 - have been recalled.

Morrisons have recalled its Market Street Living Herbs because the products might contain Listeria monocytogenes - which can cause the serious infection listeriosis.

The affected items are the following Morrisons Market Street Living herbs - basil, large basil, parsley, dill, coriander, large coriander, chives, mint, parsley and thyme.

Any of these products purchased between May 3 and 9 should not be eaten.

The Food Standards Agency said: "Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.

"Some people are more vulnerable to listeria infections, including those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and their unborn babies, babies less than one month old and people with weakened immune systems."

The supermarket chain said: "WM Morrisons Supermarkets plc is issuing a precautionary recall because of the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

"We are asking that all customers do not consume these products and instead return them to a Morrisons store for a full refund. A receipt is not needed.

"No other products are affected by this issue.

"We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."
