A village pub near Canterbury which has been shut for almost a year is being sold at auction next month.
The Blean Tavern, beside the A290, will go under the hammer at the Clive Emson property sale on Tuesday, September 10, with a guide price of £450,000.
The lot consists of the pub building, with three-bedroom accommodation above, a beer garden and customer car park on a site totalling about an acre.
But the auctioneers say it could be used for a variety of commercial uses or residential redevelopment, subject to the necessary planning consents being obtained.
The Blean Tavern was previously known as the Hare and Hounds and has had a variety of owners.
