Drivers in Canterbury are experiencing heavy delays after a road closure.

Traffic is moving slowly along the A28 through Thanington, and through Wincheap after Shalmsford Street was shut to traffic.

The road is closed near to Shalmsford Street's Premier store while water works are carried out.

Changes have been made to bus services as a result.
