Farmers stepped in to help after a huge lorry got stuck in country lane, blocking the road for almost two hours.
The HGV is said to have taken a wrong turn in Grove Road at Preston near Wingham and found itself stranded.
It happened shortly before 10.30am yesterday and police were called to help with traffic management.
Farmers also helped with a tractor to assist the lorry driver in a tight manoeuvre to turn around.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to Grove Road, Preston, Canterbury at 10.24am on Sunday following a report that a lorry was stuck on a rural road.
"The road was clear by 12.15pm."
