The 37-year-old joined Strictly as a professional dancer in 2014, performing with McFly's Harry Judd and winning the competition with Ore Oduba during her two-year stint on the BBC show.

Since then, she had starring roles in the Rocky Horror Show and Flashdance during their UK tours.

"I jumped for joy when I got the role of Fairy in Jack And The Beanstalk," Ms Clifton said.

"Panto is magical. It’s for the whole family, everyone gets involved.

"I cannot think of a better way to spend my Christmas.”
