Three men arrested on suspicion of rape at Bingley Court in Canterbury

Three men have been arrested after a woman was reportedly raped.

It is alleged to have taken place at an address in Bingley Court, Canterbury, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were at the block of flats on Wednesday questioning residents and searching bins.

Two men, aged 18 and 26, from Canterbury and a 21-year-old from Aylesford were arrested on suspicion of rape yesterday.

All of them remain in custody as investigations continue.

A police spokesman said: "Three arrests have been made following a report of a rape of a woman in Canterbury.

"An investigation has been launched by Kent Police after it was reported the offence had taken place at a private address in Bingley Court in the early hours of Sunday, April 21.

"Two men from Canterbury, aged 18 and 26, and a 21-year-old man from Aylesford were arrested on suspicion of rape on Thursday, April 25.

"They all currently remain in custody while enquiries are ongoing."
