Southeastern trains suspended after lorry hits bridge in Canterbury

Train services were suspended after a lorry hit a railway bridge this afternoon.

The vehicle hit the bridge at Wincheap by the Canterbury East Station.

Southeastern suspended services between Faversham and Dover Priory while emergency services assessed the damage.

Police have closed the road after the bridge has been struck by a lorry.
