Canterbury vandalism spree leaves cars covered in paint and with smashed windows

Cars were covered with spray paint and had their windows smashed in a mindless vandalism spree.

Police are investigating the damage caused to seven vehicles in Canterbury overnight on Monday.

A home also had its window damaged during the shocking incident.

The vandalism took place in Hales Drive, Field Avenue and South Street.

Officers have now appealed for information and have urged residents with CCTV or dashcam footage which covered the late evening to contact the police.

Police are also keen to speak to the owner of a light coloured saloon car seen in the area that evening.
