Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car at Maybrook Retail Park, Vauxhall Road, Canterbury

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car at a busy retail park.

The collision happened at about 3.20pm yesterday in Maybrook Retail Park, Vauxhall Road, Canterbury.

Paramedics were called and the pedestrian was taken to hospital.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman added: “We were called at 3.20pm on Wednesday, January 22 following a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian in the Maybrook Retail Park, Vauxhall Road, Canterbury.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the pedestrian was taken to hospital.”
