A woman was treated with oxygen after a fire at a pub early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze involving a tumble dryer at the White Horse Inn in the high street in Bridge, near Canterbury, just before 7am.
A fire service spokesman said: "It is believed that some tea towels caught fire inside the appliance, setting off the fire alarm.
"The tea towels were then moved from the appliance to a window sill, and the fire spread to a window frame.
"Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire."
A woman was treated with oxygen at the scene by the fire crew, but did not require an ambulance.
The pub is now open as usual.
