A TRAINING course for would-be cricket umpires is to be held in Canterbury on Thursdays from October 3 to December 12.

It will be run by the Canterbury branch of the Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers at the Polo Farm sports centre, Littlebourne Road, starting at 7.30pm.
