Rob Key's wedding was a low key affair

AT THE third time of asking Kent captain Rob Key married his fiancée Fleur Voisey Youldon on Monday in a ceremony at a register office in Canterbury.

The England batsman and his long-term partner, who share a home in Chislehurst and are expecting their first child in September, enjoyed a quiet ceremony at Wellington House in Canterbury with only immediate family in attendance.

After an informal lunch at The Griffins Head, the wedding party enjoyed an evening meal at the Kudos52 restaurant in Dover Street attended by club-mates and their partners, including David and Claudine Fulton, Matthew and Claudia Walker and Martin and Jill van Jaarsveld, as well as England colleague Andrew Flintoff.

Key said: "We had to put the wedding back twice because of my cricket commitments, so we thought it best to keep it low key and just have a quiet day with close family and then invite a few friends for dinner.

"We hope to have a bigger wedding celebration at the end of the summer."
