Skipper Sadiq Hassan, fresh from 3-48 with the ball, then hit 75 from 47 balls at the top of the order for HSBC.

However, having reached 171-3, three quick wickets checked their progress with Matt Rhodes (42 not out) running out of partners. There were three wickets apiece for Chris Piesley and Brandon Conradie as HSBC were all-out for 260.

Kent's Adam Rouse struck a century in a six-wicket victory for Sevenoaks Vine over Beckenham.

Sent in to bat, Beckenham endured a difficult start when both openers were back in the pavilion with just 22 on the board.

Kent's Alex Blake made just 10 before edging a widish delivery from Tom Coldman to keeper Ben Price.

Worse was to follow as Stuart Binny drove at one that didn’t come on from Chris Vernon’s medium-pace to be caught by Rouse.

The welcome return of Dan Hardy provided Will MacVicar with a solid partner and the pair added 40 before MacVicar (40) holed out against the left-arm spin of Andy Reid-Dick.

Hardy didn’t last much longer before Reid-Dick lured him a long way down the track for Price to make an easy stumping for 23.

At 97-6, the visitors looked in trouble until Johan Malcolm smashed an unbeaten 80 from 57 deliveries along with support from Mahi Mahfuzul (15).

Mahfuzul was eventually run out but Malcolm then hit 20 in the final over to lift the score to 205-8.

Binny got Beckenham off to a great start when Jon Bowden edged to Malcolm at slip, before trapping Vernon in front to leave Vine on 10-2.

At the other end, MacVicar had bowled accurately for no reward when he was replaced by Malcolm.

Mike Barber had settled in well and drove one back at Malcolm who managed to deflect the ball onto the stumps with skipper Luke Schlemmer backing up to make the score 26-3.

Visiting skipper Alex Senn tried all manner of bowling combinations to no avail as the Vine pair batted imperiously and the Beckenham fielding became more ragged.

Both batsmen reached their fifties at almost a run-a-ball but Rouse began to move through the gears to dominate the partnership and set Vine on the brink of victory by reaching a superb century from 89 balls.

The 171-run stand was ended by Shojib Ali, finally bowling Rouse for 106 and leaving Barber (73 not out) and Price to see their side home by six wickets in the 43rd over.

Sandwich beat Bickley Park by 34 runs thanks to 6-30 from Kent's Fred Klaassen.

Electing to bat first, Sandwich finished on 191-9 having been led by Jordan Cox (73) and Klaassen (28), with Arafat Bhuiyan returning 4-33 for Bickley.

Park were then bowled out for 157 despite the efforts of top scorer Safwaan Imitiaz (84).

Bexley also registered a 57-run victory over Canterbury following an unbeaten century from Shaun Evans.

Having opted to bat, Bexley found themselves at 71-3 and then 115-4 as Ben Cooper took 3-30 in 10 overs for Canterbury.

Bexley then benefited from a 96-run partnership between Evans (100 not out) and George Haley (65) to lift their score to 267-5 off 50 overs.

Canterbury fell to 65-4 in reply, until skipper Isaac Dilkes offered his side some hope with 81 from 94 deliveries.

His innings eventually came to an end when he was caught by Scotland's Calum MacLeod, off the bowling of Alexander Hill.

As the wickets continued to tumble, Canterbury finally finished short of their target on 210-9.

Centuries from Marcus O'Riordan (113) and Christian Davis (105) rewarded Tunbridge Wells for their decision to bat first as they beat Blackheath by 126 runs.

The pair led their side to 281-5 off 50 overs, to which Blackheath could only manage 155 all out in reply following a top score of 43 from opener George Wells.

Tunbridge now sit second ahead of Beckenham on 64 points and 13 points behind leaders Lordswood.
