Bluewater's best fast food chains, according to customers

From EAT to Ed's and GBK to KFC, the shopping centre in Dartford has a food selection to die for.

We've compiled statistics from the most popular eateries in Bluewater to see who will be crowned the favourite.

The largest fast-food store in the food-court is McDonald's, which has been a worldwide favourite for more than 60 years.

Home of the iconic Big Mac, fillet o' fish, and the happy meal, the American-style burger shop have a selection for even the pickiest of eaters.

The Bluewater store opened 20 years ago and was most recently refurbished in June 2018, which added the interactive ordering stands that we have all grown to love.

A total of 145 staff have to be on their toes to deal with the 70,000 customers visiting the outlet every month.

The most popular item on its menu is the humble french fry – with a whopping 14,000 portions served up each week, which is roughly 1.2 million fries.

Not as well known as some of it's Bluewater competitors, Tortilla still packs a punch and continues to make a name for itself as a strong contendor as the go-to choice for a quick bite.

The Californian-inspired-Mexican fast-food chain has been serving up sizzling delights from the Winter Garden for eight years.

Almost 30,000 burrito lovers visit the chain each month, who are served by a team of 20 workers.

The restaurant serves more than 5,500 chicken burritos a month making it their most popular dish.

The Bluewater store also has a claim to fame – introducing Blue's Lee Ryan to his one love, the naked burrito!

As you walk into the food-court one of the first things you will see are the green lights of Wasabi.

Launched in 2003 by Don Hyun Kim, the Japanese fast food brand offers a wide range of oriental delicacies.

The Bluewater site was opened in 2012 and employee 30 staff with an average of 30,000 customers a month.

Coming in at the number one most enjoyed hot dish is the chicken katsu curry, with a staggering 10,000 portions sold each month.

As for cold eats, the rainbow sushi set racks up 2,000 sales a month– with the Tokyo set a close second with 1,500 units.

An internet sensation and a popular first-date location for many couples, Nando's have supplied the world with per-peri excellence since 1992.

From a quarter-chicken to the wing roulette, the Portugese-style restaurant has a unique taste that causes many to visit time and time again and order the exact same thing.

The Bluewater restaurant employs 52 staff with four of the team being there since it first opened in November 2007.

One customer has been visiting the store three times a week, every week, for the past 12 years – he even attended one of the employee's weddings!

But the most important question is... how hot do you go?

Burger King first entered the UK in 1976 and as of 2018, there are more than 500 outlets nationwide operated by a team of franchisees.

The home of the famous whopper, it has definitely made a name for itself in the fast-food world.

Unsurprisingly, the most popular choice for visitors to the Bluewater store is indeed the Whopper.

It has been a part of the Thames Walk area of the shopping centre for 20 years and employ up to 35 staff to facilitate all of your burger related needs.

Usually an interesting topic of debate, but which do you prefer? The Big Mac of McDonald's or Burger King's golden boy the Whopper?

When it comes to fast food chicken options, you have the Chicken Royal from Burger King, the Chicken Legend from McDonald's, and the Katsu Chicken from Wasabi, just to name a few.

But none of them come close to the king of chicken based fast-food, which is of course, KFC.

Introduced to the UK in 1965, the fast-food chicken stop has been a go-to option for many people's Saturday night indulgence.

The Bluewater store is positioned right next to the biggest, McDonald's, but still attracts thousands of customers daily.

It has even been reported that KFC sell more than 1,500 pieces of chicken a day, so if you're vegeterian I would look away now...
