Police have discovered a body in the search for a missing man.

Officers attended an area near Lowfield Street in Dartford at around midday today (May 2), where the body of a man was found.

An appeal was launched on April 12 to trace Wayne Parchment, who was reported missing on April 10 after last being seen in the Spital Street area of Dartford.

Police say formal identification has not yet taken place but his family has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
