A four-year-old child has died and two people have been arrested after a crash.
Police were called to New Barn Road in Southfleet on Sunday after reports of a two-vehicle collision.
The road was shut in both directions from the A2 to Warren Road from Sunday at around 9.30pm for several hours.
Three people from the same vehicle were taken to hospital.
A four-year-old boy died at the hospital and a 24-year-old man remains in a critical condition. A one-year-old girl received minor injuries.
Yesterday (June 2), police arrested two men in connection with the crash, a 27-year-old from Darenth and a 53-year-old from Swanley.
They remain in custody while inquiries continue.
Detectives would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, which involved two grey Ford Rangers.
