Balaclava-clad men on moped and electric scooter attempt to rob 12-year-old near Greenhithe Railway Station

Balaclava-clad men on a moped and electric scooter tried to rob a 12-year-old at knife-point at a train station.

One of the individuals threatened the boy with a knife during the incident near the Avenue Bridge, between Greenhithe Railway Station and Ingress Park.

It happened at around 3.30pm last Thursday.

One of the individuals allegedly threatened him with the blade while the other told him to turn out his pockets.

No items were handed over and the victim was uninjured.

One of the suspects arrived at the scene on a moped and was around 18 years of age and approximately 5ft 6in with a slim build.

At the time he was wearing a black jacket alongside black jogging bottoms, a black balaclava and black gloves.

The other arrived at the scene on an e scooter and was around 16 years of age.

He was around 5ft 4in with a slim build. He was wearing similar clothing, in addition to black trainers which had air bubbles on the back.
