A teenager has been charged in connection with a number of burglaries.

John Connors, 18, of Mushroom Field Road in Northampton, is alleged to have burgled homes in South Darenth and Dartford and attempted to burgle a home in West Kingsdown in August last year.

An amount of cash and jewellery were stolen during one of the incidents.

He was arrested in Northampton last Wednesday following an investigation by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

He appeared at Medway Magistrate’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on a future date.
