Two lanes were briefly closed at the Dartford Tunnel this morning.

National Highways told KentOnine this had been due to a vehicle breakdown.

It happened at about 8.30am and this was cleared uo just after 9am with all lanes running as usual.

Initial reports said the area affected was the anti-clockwise M25 from Junction 1A on the A206 at Dartford to Junction 31 on the A1306 at Lakeside and Purfleet in Essex.
