Second day of disruption on Southeastern Sidcup line between Dartford and London

Kent commuters are facing a second morning of difficult journeys as some rail services into London continue to be suspended thanks to a derailed freight train.

Southeastern journeys on the Sidcup line remain disrupted as Network Rail remove a freight train which derailed in south east London yesterday morning.

There are no trains between Hither Green and Sidcup and a shuttle train runs between Sidcup and Dartford until 10.30am.

Due to the disruption, Southeastern tickets are valid on London buses (between Dartford and London Bridge), the London Underground and Thameslink services.
