Couple attacked outside Knockhall Primary School in Greenhithe

A 19-year-old man and his 17-year-old girlfriend were injured last night after being attacked by a gang.

Police were called to a disturbance outside Knockhall Primary School, Eynsford Road, Greenhithe, at around 9.15pm.

The man was repeatedly punched and suffered a fractured cheekbone.

Police spokesman Charlotte North said: "Two people reported injuries and one of them attended a local hospital."

They explained how three men and two girls approached them and wanted nothing more than to start a fight.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the incident remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.
