Cyclist in hospital with serious injuries after colliding with van in Greenhithe

A cyclist was airlifted to hospital after colliding with a van and suffering serious injuries.

Crash investigators are appealing for information following the serious collision on Crossways Boulevard in Greenhithe, near Dartford, at around 10.15am yesterday.

Police say a Volkswagen Transporter van travelling from the direction of Crossways Business Park collided with a black Carrera Crossfire cycle; and the rider, a man in his 50s, was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the vehicles prior to or during the collision.

They are also keen to speak to anyone who can provide dash cam footage.
