Motorists have faced delays on a motorway after a lane was closed to recover a broken-down vehicle.

The M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise was blocked due to the incident this afternoon from junction 1A (Dartford) to junction 31 (Lakeside/Purfleet).

Traffic monitoring tool, Inrix, reports that the right-hand tunnel is closed, while the left-hand tunnel remains open.

It is understood the delays are now easing.
