There were delays after a crash on the M25 near the Dartford Crossing.

Two lanes of the busy motorway were closed clockwise at junction 1B, where it meets the A282.

Traffic information site Inrix reported queues in the area, but these have since eased and the route has fully reopened.

Motorway cameras appeared to show a recovery effort underway at the scene.

A National Highways spokesperson said on X: “Two lanes of three are currently closed on the A282 southbound within the A296/A225 Dartford Crossing junction due to a collision.

“Emergency services are on scene. Traffic is passing in one lane.”
