Drivers have been faced with heavy traffic following a crash on the M25 near Dartford.

Three cars were involved in the accident at Junction 2 Darenth Interchange just before 11.40am, and traffic officers closed one lane at the entrance of the exit slip road.

The vehicles have been recovered and all lanes have been reopened.

No injuries were reported.

Congestion remains further along the M25 towards the Dartford Crossing.
