Delays on the M25 near the Dartford Tunnel following lorry crash in Swanscombe

There are delays on the M25 following a crash between two lorries.

Traffic is queuing anticlockwise near the Dartford Tunnel from J1A of the A206 Bob Dunn Way, in Swanscombe.

An accident involving two HGVs was reported to Highways England shortly after 11am.

One lane has been closed and the right hand tunnel has been shut.

The left hand tunnel, which is smaller in height, remains open. No injuries were reported.

Spokesman for Highways England, Howard Rhoades confirmed traffic was moving and said drivers could expect delays of up to 20 minutes.

He said: "Traffic is currently moving and it is not severe so it will likely be clear in the next couple of hours."
