There were long delays for those heading through the Dartford Tunnel this evening.

Motorists were seen queuing on the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25 due to reports of an earlier accident.

There were delays between J1A for Dartford and J31 for Lakeside.

There was also congestion that stretched back to J3 for the Swanley Interchange.

Traffic cameras showed huge queues building in the area.

But the long delays have since cleared.
