Crews arrived in one fire engine and used ladders to reach the fluffy offspring who were stuck inside a chimney where they had been nesting.

All five ducklings where lifted out of the smokestack and carried safely to the ground to be reunited with their mallard mum.

The feathered family was then passed into the care of the RSPCA ahead of their relocation at a new home by the nearby lake.
