A date for the fifth demolition of the Thames' last remaining power station has been revealed.
The steel frame of the "D" station de-aeration bay, at Littlebrook, in Dartford, will be brought down at midnight on Wednesday, June 19.
It comes just five days after the fourth demolition at the station took place.
The 10-second explosion will coincide with a short rolling road block on the QE II bridge, to make sure drivers aren't distracted.
An exclusion zone, within the power station boundary fence, will also be put in place before, to protect everyone on site and in the nearby area.
There will be no public access to the area, or any impact on local roads, and the event won't be visible from outside the boundary.
Brown and Mason, who have completed the previous three demolitions, have said the explosion may be heard off site briefly, but it is still classed as a low impact project.
Demolitions of parts of the main structures are set to continue throughout 2019, with the completion expected in 2020.
