Severe delays at Dartford Tunnel as four-mile queues form after accident involving three vehicles

Drivers were left facing lengthy queues of up to an hour at the Dartford Tunnel this afternoon after an accident forced the closure of two lanes.

Kent Police were called to the A282 anti-clockwise approach to the Dartford crossing shortly before 2pm after reports of a three-car pile-up.
