An inquest which opened earlier today at Maidstone's County Hall revealed the 16-year-old was seen on CCTV "standing on the platform, before walking into the path of a moving train".

Jasmine, of Hart Dyke Road, Swanley, was a student and was identified by her mother and British Transport Police officers.

Her provisional cause of death was given as multiple injuries.

Since the teen's death a fundraiser has been set up which has raise more than £10,000 in two days from more than 220 donors.

Among those paying tribute to Jasmine was her former teacher, Natasha Davison, who said: "I taught Jasmine in Year 6 at St Mary's CE Primary school. She was such a beautiful, kind-hearted member of the class of 2014.

Eleanor Wall, who set up the fundraising page, said: "Our family is heart-broken beyond words. We have lost the most precious, beautiful talented, funny, most caring and kind-hearted princess ever at just 16.

"We are setting up this page to raise money to help my sister and her family give our beautiful Jasmine the best send-off that she deserves. She was truly loved by all who knew her."

Along with the GoFundMe page, floral tributes were also left outside Swanley railway station.

One read: "Jasmine will always be in our hearts. A beautiful young girl, gone but never forgotten."
