A helicopter was seen flying low over the River Thames near the Dartford Crossing after police recovered a vehicle linked to a fatal shooting.

There was a large emergency services presence on the QEII Bridge shortly before midnight.

Flight radar data shows a helicopter was close to the crossing, and at one point just 25ft above the water.

Online reports suggest someone may have fallen from the bridge into the river, but this has not been confirmed.
