More homes announced for Ebbsfleet Garden City

Planners have announced new major developments which could bring almost 500 more homes to Ebbsfleet Garden City.

Ashmere Garden Village planned at the Eastern Quarry section of the development near Swanscombe, would comprise of 235 homes along with associated infrastructure and a new neighbourhood green.

Further plans for the former Croxton and Garry Site in Tiltman Avenue, Swanscombe, would see the creation of 233 new homes, together with

associated infrastructure, including details of a surface drainage scheme, finished site and floor levels, noise attenuation and mitigation measures, public open spaces, sunlight assessment, sustainability measures, ecological enhancement, heritage interpretation, public footpath, landscaping along Tiltman Avenue and play equipment.

There are also plans for the area denoted as Parcel 5A, Swanscombe Edge, for the installation of a new road, including vehicle, pedestrian and cycle access.

People can view and comment on Ebbsfleet applications using the public access system at applications.ebbsfleetdc.org.uk/online-applications/ and enter the application reference number and click search.
