Hundreds of people queued up for the opening of a new make-up store at a shopping centre.
Space NK welcomed its first shoppers to its latest branch at Bluewater today - and the first 300 customers received a free goodie bag.
Pictures from this morning show long lines of people outside the new shopfront, which is located in Unit 132, Lower Guildhall, near The White Company and Hobbs.
Eager shoppers reportedly first started queueing at 6pm yesterday, with people continuing to line up as of 1pm.
The store officially opened at 10am with a ribbon cutting.
A DJ has been performing outside the shop since 9am.
The first 200 customers to spend £150 received a free tote bag filled with £300 worth of products.
Those who spend £30 or more will get the chance to spin the Space NK wheel for a chance to win a range of prizes.
There is also a slide at the shopping centre replacing one of the escalators.
One person waiting in line this morning said: “I’ve been here since about 7am.
“I got an email last night and decided to come down early – I love the brand and normally have to travel to London or shop online.”
Space NK offers more than 100 different skincare, makeup and haircare brands.
The beauty retailer revealed plans to open the new 2,760 sq ft branch earlier this year, after closing its previous store back in 2012.
It has 80 other stores across the country, with the other Kent locations being Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and Tenterden.
Beauty retailer Sephora also opened at the shopping centre in November, with hundreds of people queuing to be the first customers inside.
It was reported that the first customer started queuing at around 5.45pm the day before.
