Kent’s largest shopping centre has another option for hungry shoppers.

German Doner Kebab (GDK) welcomed its first customers to its latest restaurant at Bluewater in Greenhithe, today (June 4).

It has six other branches in Kent, in Gravesend, Tunbridge Wells, Dover, Hempstead Valley, Maidstone and Canterbury.

The newest is in the Winter Garden food court at Bluewater.

GDK serves a range of items from rice boxes and wraps to burgers and kebabs.

Its signature dish is the doner kebab served in a waffle bread with chilli, yoghurt and garlic sauces.

News of the new restaurant at Bluewater was first announced in April.

Speaking at the time, GDK CEO Simon Wallis said: “Bluewater is one of the busiest shopping destinations in the UK, making it the perfect location for us to serve up our game-changing kebabs.

“Our menu is built around quality ingredients, bold flavours, and providing a new elevated perspective on a nationwide favourite.
