Long delays on M25 at J1B for Dartford cleared

A crash caused long delays on the M25 anticlockwise at Junction 1B for Dartford.

Three lorries, one of them thought to be a tanker, collided at around 4.45am.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called but police say no one was seriously injured.

Drivers faced long delays on the approach and on surrounding routes which were busy as people tried to avoid the queues.

All lanes were reopened by 9am and traffic has now cleared.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.45am on November 20 to a collision involving three vehicles on the anticlockwise M25 close to the Dartford Crossing.

"Officers attended along with fire and ambulance services and there are not believed to be any serious injuries."
