Love Island winner Jack Fincham was left badly shaken and another person was taken to hospital after a crash in Dartford yesterday.

The 29-year-old had been on his way to lunch at the Horse and Groom pub in Leyton Cross Road when his new Mercedes E220 was involved in a collision with a Chrysler PT Cruiser as he turned into the pub car park.

One person who had been in the Chrysler was treated for injuries before being taken to hospital, and Jack later took to Instagram to talk about the incident.

He said: "Pulling into the car park to go and have something to eat, and a car has just ploughed straight into the side of my car as I've indicated to go in there.

"I do not have any luck with cars, I don't understand it. I'm devastated - it's a brand new car as well. I'm devastated, but thankfully no one was injured. It's just a bit of metal at the end of the day isn't it, but it's all being dealt with by the police and the insurance companies, but I'm just upset about the car - it's such a shame."

Kent Police confirmed they were called at 2pm on to a collision involving two cars in Leyton Cross Road, Dartford.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a person was treated for injuries before being taken to a local hospital.
