The son of a pastor will go on trial this year accused of attempted murder outside a pub.

Jueanville's father - a pastor and JP - was in Maidstone Crown Court to hear legal discussions about the case.

Judge Philip St John-Stevens adjourned the hearing for a week when Jueanville, of Frindsbury Road, Strood, is expected to enter a plea.

A trial date of November 11 has been set aside for the five-day hearing and Jueanville, who only spoke to confirm his name and date of birth and nationality, was remanded in custody.

Officers were called to the Flying Boat Pub in May after a man was taken to hospital and treated for stab wounds in the back.
