Man accused of attempted murder after two women attacked in Temple Hill, Dartford

A man will stand trial for attempted murder after a woman was attacked in Dartford.

Simeon Shaba denied attempting to murder a woman at a property in Temple Hill on August 4 when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old, of Sandling Rise, Eltham, also denied inflicting actual bodily harm on a second woman, who was also in the property.

He was arrested on suspicion of the offence on August 13, and charged the following day. He has been held on remand since.

His trial is due to take place at Maidstone Crown Court on January 4, 2022.

An additional count of wounding with intent, relating to the same victim in the attempted murder charge, was added at Tuesday's court hearing. Shaba has also denied this charge.
