Police investigate after two men reportedly punched a man repeatedly and robbed him in Hawley Road, Dartford

Police are investigating after two men reportedly forced a man from his bike, punched him repeatedly, and seized his possessions.

Kent Police was called to the service station in Hawley Road, Dartford, at about 1.10am on Monday, June 27 2016.

It is alleged that the victim, who is in his 20s, was approached by two men and repeatedly punched while being dragged from his mountain bike.

They then took the bicycle, as well as his rucksack and mobile telephone.

Officers attended and carried out a search of the local area but were unable to locate anyone responsible.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head and face.
