Police say the assailants forced him to stop before taking the bike.

At 9.44pm officers received a further report that a Honda Zooma had been stolen from outside a caravan in Brands Hatch in a separate incident.

Insp Simon Whitehead said: "We are continuing to investigate both incidents and are appealing for information. We are asking anyone who was in the Dartford Road area at around 9pm on Saturday to review their dashcam footage and contact us if they have anything that may assist detectives.

"I would also like to urge motorcyclists to be mindful that someone may target them for the bike and to secure their vehicle as best they can when leaving it unattended.

"Whilst it is unusual for such force to be used to steal a motorcycle as reported in this instance, if you are riding and think someone may be following you, ride to a busy area or a police station before stopping."

Anyone with information should call 01622 604100, quoting reference 16-1374, or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
