Pair in court on £500,000 drug charges

TWO men have appeared before magistrates after cocaine with a street value of £500,000 was seized in a swoop.

Julian Warwick, 36, from Dartford, and Gary Hudson, 42, of Bedford,Warwickshire, have been charged with conspiring to supply 5,991 grams of cocaine.

It comes following an intelligence-led operation in Swanley on Wednesday.

Warwick appeared before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Saturday and was also charged with possession of a hand gun, ammunition and with possesion with intent to supply 209 grams of cocaine.

He will appear before Maidstone Crown Court on October 13.

Hudson appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Friday and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court at a later date.
