Man taken to hospital after being hit by car in Cotton Lane, Dartford

A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a car and police are now appealing for dash cam footage.

A silver Mercedes collided with the walker in Cotton Lane, Dartford, at 6.45am.

The man, who is in his 30s, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital.

Officers from the serious collision investigation unit attended and have issued an appeal for information.

They are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle involved beforehand.

An appeal has also been launched for dashcam footage.

The road remains closed.
