A pedestrian was taken to a London hospital after being hit by a car.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Heath Street, in Dartford, at around 2.20pm yesterday (June 26).

A woman was assessed and treated by paramedics at the scene for her injuries.

She was then taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, in Orpington, for further treatment.

The road was clear by around 3.30pm.
