A popular celeb sent the women of north Kent all of a flutter when he paid Bluewater a visit.

More than 300 people queued to meet pop star Peter Andre yesterday with some arriving at 9pm the night before in the hope of catching a glimpse of their idol.

Andre began signing copies of his new children's books A Happy Birthday Party and A New Day at School at 11am in WHSmith and finished at about 12.15pm.

Andre told the Messenger: "It was lovely being here at Bluewater. The people of this area are brilliant."
