Plans for a new 25-metre mobile phone mast and several home extensions are among the latest planning applications submitted to Dartford council.

A proposal has been submitted in relation to the removal of an existing 17-metre monopole mast in Longfield.

The application has been lodged to determine whether prior approval is required to replace it with a taller 25-metre shareable mast fitted with antennas and equipment.

The new structure would be installed on land on the east side of Nurstead Avenue.

Also in Longfield, proposals have been made for the reduction and removal of several maple trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) dating back to 1988.

The work includes reducing the crown height of one tree in The Maples by two metres, trimming back branches overhanging a lawn, and felling two mature trees entirely.

Plans have also been submitted for a two-bedroom granny annexe at a home in Birchwood Road, Wilmington.

- Works to a pine tree in The Close, Wilmington.

- Two applications for detached dwellings and parking alterations in Sandy Lane, Bean.

- Works to 26 protected trees around Coopers Drive, Bexley Park.

- Removal of an oak tree at Garrow, Longfield.

- Amendments to plans at North Kent College in Oakfield Lane, Dartford, relating to the location of emergency access and substations for a 93-home development.
