A three-car crash has caused long delays on the M25.
Police were called to the collision on the A282, near the Dartford Crossing approach, shortly after 11am today (March 8).
The force said it was assisting with traffic management while recovery was arranged.
Motorists were warned to expect queues with one lane of the M25 clockwise closed after the incident, between junctions 1A and 1B.
As of 2pm, all lanes had been reopened.
Elsewhere, Kent commuters travelling outside of the county or towards Heathrow Airport may be caught in congestion.
This is because the M25 in Surrey is closed all weekend between junctions 10 and 11.
In a post on X, National Highways said there is approximately two miles of congestion approaching the closure both ways, as well as on the A3 northbound.
The closure is to facilitate bridge demolition works.
