Police car involved in crash in East Hill Dartford

A police car was involved in a crash with another car in Dartford earlier this afternoon.

The smash happened at the bottom of East Hill shortly before 5pm.

It is not clear how the accident happened, but it also involved a blue Vauxhall.

The picture was taken by Glen Clayton, who said: "I had to get off my bus to get another bus and had to walk past it.

"There were two other police cars at the scene."

Kent Police spokesman Scarlet Drayson said: "At around 1pm on Sunday, March 29, a collision between a car and a Kent Police vehicle took place in East Hill, by the junction with Home Gardens in Dartford.

"No injuries were reported. The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered."
