Plans to restore a historic building and for a major electric bus charging site are among the latest planning applications submitted to Dartford council.
A proposal has been lodged seeking listed building consent for the repair and restoration of Manor Gate House in Priory Road, Dartford.
The works would include alterations to the stair tower roof, stone repairs, window changes, and internal ceiling replacements at the Grade II-listed structure.
Manor Gate House is among Dartford’s oldest surviving medieval buildings, believed to date back to the 14th century.
The proposed works are intended to “preserve the integrity of the building’s historic fabric” while addressing essential structural issues and ensuring the long-term protection of its architectural features.
A consultation has also been lodged by Kent County Council (KCC) for the installation of new electric bus charging infrastructure at Acacia Hall in Dartford High Street.
The plans include three 450kw EKO Energetyka Link chargers, a new entrance and exit for buses and pedestrians, the diversion of a public right of way, and new lighting columns.
